At Jennie`s Childminding we offer childcare for children from birth to 12 years old. We offer a home for home childcare setting where we encourage children to feel comfortable and feel part of the family. I have three assistants who are registered with Ofsted too, My husband Andy, my daughter Abigail who is also a TA at a primary school comes to play in school holidays and also my mum Michelle who often comes to visit and an outings with us.

 At present i am in the process of doing a BA Honors in Early Childhood with the open university to broader my knowledge. I am now in my final year.

Within my setting I plan a range of activities for the children to take part in, such as arts and crafts, sticking and gluing, baking,  outdoor play. We have an covered outdoor area which is full of resources which we can use in all weathers, its fantastic in rain as the children can play and stay dry in the fresh air. During the warmer seasons the garden creates opportunity to plant and grow a variety of plants, fruits and vegetables, plenty of visits to garden centers to investigate and play and of course a snack in the cafe when needed.    

I plan regular outings to local attractions such as Hall Farm Park, Normandy Hall, Willingham Woods, Fun Forest and many more. 

I ensure that we follow the child's interests and making sure we include the child's next steps in there development in everything we do.
